During an interview with Sky Sports, Gary Player talked about the "hottest" topic of the moment, namely the transition to the Saudi Super League of some PGA Tour players.
The nine-time Major champion (3 Open Championship, 3 Masters Tournament, 2 PGA Championship and one U.S. Open) does not blame the fact that Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson, respectively second ($ 94,955,000) and third ($ 74,266,000) in the money list of the PGA Tour, have decided to join the newly formed Saudi League.
On the other hand, Player expressed his belief that players who have made (and will) the Saudi League should not be allowed to play on the PGA Tour.
