HBO has dropped the first teaser trailer for the fourth season of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy’s Westworld. The trailer came with the caption “A perfect day is here” and while things start out calm and inviting, as soon as the Man in Black shows up things take a dark turn and start to get out of control!
Season 4 will consist of eight episodes, and the cast for the series includes Evan Rachel Wood will be back, along with Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth and Aaron Paul.
When previously talking about the next chapter of the Westworld story, co-creator Lisa Joy said, “you’re going to see some new worlds that I think are really fun and you’re going to see someone who I kidnapped from Reminiscence in a funny way.” She was also asked for one word to describe the new season, and that word was “inversion.”
The series is set to return on June 26th. This series has taken audiences on quite an insane journey, and I’ve enjoyed the hell out of it! I’m excited to see how this story continues to play out over the course of the next season. Are you excited for Westworld Season 4?
